Before joining Freiheit Legal, Mortimer Freiheit was a senior partner in the Montréal office of Stikeman Elliott, where he practiced in commercial litigation for over forty-three years. During that time, Maître Freiheit developed and led the commercial litigation, labor law and bankruptcy and restructuring practices, and also assisted in the development of the intellectual property litigation department. He led countless numbers of litigation teams to victory in a broad range of matters ranging from commercial disputes to director/officer/accountant liability to intellectual property rights. He has also negotiated numerous complex, strategic and favorable settlements when in his clients’ best interests.
